IRS efile approved for fast electronic filing for federal and state returns. Most simple returns $69.00 includes efiling and direct deposit of refunds. Accounting fees $30/hr if monthly client, $40/hr if you come in quarterly.
We're sorry, but we cannot file returns electronically after October 15th for the current year (2004 tax season). Also, if you found a deduction that would result in a bigger refund, you have three years to file a 1040X and get that refund!
P.S. It was not H&R Blocks idea to check your previous year tax return for free, the IRS has had that requirement for all tax preparers to check the previous year and correct any errors.
Also, no surprise fees. I tell you upfront how much your fees are BEFORE I file your return. I do NOT charge extra to efile or charge per form.
